She made it a point that posing for glamorous pictures would win her offers in Hindi film industry. Moreover, she was confident that her Hindi remake of ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’ would win her laurels. Unfortunately, her 3-film contract with Akshay Kumar was cancelled due to her lack of punctuality. Unlike Tamil film industry, Bollywood gives more priority to the promotion of films and signs the actresses accordingly for the call-sheet. But Trisha was so careless that soon after completing the shooting of ‘Khatta Meeta’, she flew down to Venice for the shooting of ‘Manmadhan Ambu’. Finally it looks like actress Ileana has been signed for the Tamil and Telugu remake of ‘3 Idiots’. The story of ‘3 Idiots’ remake started during the audio launch of ‘Rettaisuzhi’ as Shankar expressed his likeliness over making such great films. Later, Gemini Film Circuit had acquired the remake rights in Tamil and Telugu. Also Vijay expressed his interest of performing such good image roles. And at last, the biggest icons came together for the film.

Now the team of ‘3 Idiots’ – Vijay, Siddarth and Jeeva has been confirmed and it was a big confusion for Shankar to confirm the female lead role that was performed by Kareena Kapoor in original version. Now actress Ileana has been signed for the female lead role and she will soon sign the project.
