Enthiran release date confirmed news

From Monday (September 6), Tamil and English newspapers in Chennai have started publishing ads that Sun Pictures eagerly awaited Enthiran is due in September!

The ads are a clear indicator that the film will release either on September 24 or 30. All post production work on the film has been complete and by September 15 the first copy would be ready for censor.

Mumbai trade papers has said that Enthiran’s Hindi version Robot has been purchased by leading south Indian producers Gemini Film Circuit (GFC). The film will be distributed through Vidhu Vinod Chopra (VVC) productions who made the mega blockbuster 3 Idiots.

Please note GFC and VVC have long standing relationship as the former had purchased south Indian remake rights of Munna Bhai MBBS and now 3 Idiots from the latter. The deal is said to be around Rs 18 Crores.
